OK, so it's not really a Medieval helmet, but with our modern take on Richard III these would make fabulous helmets for the final battle scene. We'll need lots of cardboard and glue guns. Watch out Daft Punk!
The face part is too complicated for us to make alone, but once you've made the dome, you can make the face part however you like. If we make loads of domes at once, we can experiment with the rest of the helmet.
In Medieval times, people spoke different words and had a different accent to modern English. If you heard it spoken, you'd think you were hearing a different language altogether. One of the greatest writers during Medieval times was Geoffrey Chaucer. He wrote a famous poem called the Canterbury Tales. Listen to it below with your teacher. Remember, not long before this, French had been the official language of England and many of the Medieval kings only spoke French. Can you work out why this would be so?
Strange isn't it? Look at what the words mean here. It's still quite hard to understand even when it's translated into modern English! Can you create a translation of some of the middle English words into modern English? Here's a start:

If you went back in a time machine to Medieval times, would you understand what people were saying? Would they understand you?
While you're at it, try out Old English. That's what the Anglo Saxons spoke before the Norman French invaded. This is an Old English version of the Lords Prayer. They didn't always have dramatic music playing in the background!
Read the source information to decide for yourself who killed the princes in the Tower. Make a convincing case that that person killed the princes - use the evidence from the sources. Act out a court scene accusing them of killing the princes.
